Round Up for The Food Project!

We believe in proactive partnerships that lift our community. We know that when everyone works together, we can make a difference. In that spirit, we will add (and match) fifty cents to each check as a donation to U Empower of Maryland, and its two flagship programs: The FoodBridge (an online food rescue system that saves food from the landfill and puts it into the hands of non-profits feeding our community) and The Food Project (a Southwest Baltimore City community center for youth to learn about food, eat healthy, and gain leadership skills).

GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are more prevalent in American foods than in any other country in the world. While we encourage everyone to do their own research about GMOs and whether they are worth the potential health risks, We strongly support the GMO Labeling movement.
